Vital: We make vigorous performances where the audience feel vitally part of the work. We embrace the raw, the playful, the visceral and the unbridled energy inherent in all life, but so often muted in the day-to-day.
Vulnerable: We embrace imperfections, mistakes and openness with conviction. We make work through a process of offerings, curiosity and reflection, giving fertile ground for strange, magic and fragile ideas to take root.
Troupe: We aim to cultivate a multi-disciplinary collective of artists/makers/doers in order for the unexpected to unfold. We are curious about what we can learn from one another in the hectic and messy collision of different artforms and cultural/artistic traditions.
Subverting space: We share work in non-traditional spaces and reimagine conventional venues to expand how audiences and locations can be active participants in the work.
Multidisciplinary: We believe in the interaction of varied genres and what they can teach each other. Disparate and diverse artforms brought together generate new and unexpected ideas.
Engagement: We hold the belief that true participation is the best kind of audience experience - eg, collective singing, shared cooking and eating, audience ideas directly impacting the work that is made.
